Sekotak Kado

Ku coba masuki dunianya.

Dalam khayalku, aku adalah dia.

Tiap hari aku disuguhkan sekotak kado.

Di dalamnya berisi penuh misteri, penuh kejutan.

Kado kecil yang memerlukan banyak tanggung jawab.

Kado indah yang diperuntukkan bagi orang-orang berhati baja.

Suatu hari, aku mendapat kotak kado berwarna putih.

Dengan senyuman, kuterima.

Kado yang sangat indah.

Begitu jelas, transparan dan jenih.

Kuletakkan kado tersebut dalam peti kaca.

Karna aku ingin mereka dapat melihat kebenaran akan keindahanya.

Di lain hari, aku mendapat kotak kado berwarna hitam.

Sungguh pekat. Gelap.

Sungguh tak pantas.

Kumasukkan kotak ini kedalam peti baja, ku kunci rapat.

Karna aku tak ingin, orang lain mendapatkan kado ini.

Hari ini, aku mendapat kotak kado berwarna abu-abu.

Sungguh samar.

Aku tak sanggup melihat isinya dengan panca inderaku.

Sungguh ku tak sanggup menjangkaunya.

Di mana harus ku letakkan kado ini ???

Hmm, mengapa begitu sulit untuk memutuskan hal ini !!!

Seminggu berlalu....

Kutatap 8 buah kotak kado di hadapanku.

Seandainya ini benar-benar hanya sekotak kado.

Sayangnya ini adalah 8 kasus yang harus aku tangani.

Tetapi.. mengapa semuanya tampak samar.

Bukti yang ku miliki tak cukup kuat.

Bukti yang ku inginkan sangat sulit diperoleh.

Bak dipersimpangan jalan, aku merasa sulit memilih jalan yang tepat.

Sangat sulit menemukan titik terangnya.

Ragu menyelimuti diriku... Bagaimana kalau aku salah ?

Ternyata lebih banyak hal yang tak dapat kuputuskan.

"TIDAAAAKKK." Teriak ku.

Ku tersadar.

Seberkas senyum muncul.

Diam-diam aku bersyukur aku bukanlah ia.

Karna ku tak yakin, dapat menahan godaan yang ditimbulkan oleh sekotak kado.
